Seinfeld foi uma das mais populares e premiadas sitcoms dos Estados Unidos, se tornando um verdadeiro fenômeno na década de 90.
Exibida originalmente de 5 de Julho de 1989 até 14 de Maio de 1998, a série retrata a narcissista e irônica cultura da década. Em 2002, o TV Guide lançou uma lista dos 50 melhores programas de televisão de todos os tempos, e Seinfeld estava em primeiro lugar. O programa foi criado por Larry David e Jerry Seinfeld. Estrela Jerry Seinfeld interpretando a si mesmo morando num apartamento em Manhattan, Nova Iorque. Há um eclético leque de personagens, que inclui Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), George Costanza (Jason Alexander) e Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). É produzido pela Castle-Rock Entertainment e distribui­da pela Columbia Pictures (hoje, Sony Pictures).
